The Cellular Phones And Our Children Debate

by Marlon Reeves on Mar.11, 2010, under multimedia

Do you remember the cell phones from a decade or so ago? They were do big and bulky that you couldn’t carry them around with you like you can now, and were mainly owned by business men. Even they left them in their cars a lot due to the weight. Today is a different world; practically everyone has one and they have replaced landlines in popularity.

If you work, or are going to be later home that you planned, a cell phone is great for getting in touch. But why are children walking around with them glued to their ears?

This begs an obvious question. How young is too young for a cell phone and when should children get their first?

For me, the right time to give a child their own phone is when they are around fourteen or fifteen. They will be going out a lot more and visiting other kids houses without needing supervision.

By giving them their own phone at this age they are old enough to appreciate it and it is also there for emergencies.

As cells should be for emergencies only, why would a child of 12 need one? If they go somewhere for the evening they should be getting dropped off and then picked up again so they shouldn’t need to ring you for anything. They aren’t old enough to appreciate that this is a serious piece of technology and they tend to treat them as toys.

Another good idea is to get your teen a pay as you go phone which they can top up with their allowance. This will avoid horrendous bills dropping on your mat thanks to your kid making hundreds of phone calls.

You could make a deal with our child, you will top it up once a month for them and of they use all their minutes before then they have to pay for the top out of their allowance.

Enjoy more of this writer’s work about topics such as wireless surround sound speakers and home theater speaker systems.

Determine The Best Way To Successfully Use Green Screen In TV Production

by Phillip Guye on Mar.10, 2010, under multimedia

The advent of satellite tv has seen the virtual explosion of Television channels, broadcasters, production houses and content material manufacturers. This is because cable TV and direct to home systems have certainly pushed the frontiers of television broadcasting beyond all imaginable limits and onto a worldwide level. It’s perfectly logical that Television networks across the globe utilize the usage of a Green screen.

Among the typical techniques that are utilized in television program production is actually that of employing a Green screen in the background of the studio where a particular program is getting taken. This is part of the strategy of chroma key which deals specifically with the removal of particular images in the background of the shot as well as superimposing this with another image, which is more suitable for the production. For example, one can use a screen that is green in colour behind the broadcaster who is reading out the weather news. When audiences view the programme, the green or blue screen as the case may be, is changed with a weather map or scenes of particular cities or satellite images.

A Green screen is especially useful for chroma key uses, on account that the conventional human skin tone has very little elements of green in it. This helps in the better level of quality of image superimposition plus the alternative of background, without interfering much with the basic image of the broadcaster who is positioned in the foreground. If there had been any green tint or tone in human skin, elements of the body would seem invisible when utilizing the other coloured screen, making the effect quite odd and very inappropriate and out of place.

One of the primary advantages of using a Green screen is that it is fairly easy to implement as well as being cost effective. If one were to use an enormous plasma or High definition tv display behind the broadcaster, the effect could be marvellous, but the cost would be far larger compared to that of using a green screen. In these times of economic downturn, cost management would be the key and the dice is loaded towards using cheaper options.

One can effortlessly make a Green screen that may be used in Television programme production. With this, simple things like a table cloth can be used. This fabric has to be uniformly painted, so that there are no smudges or uneven areas that could stand out when the show goes on air. One can likewise work with a plain wall that is evenly painted in green to create the colored background. One of the tricks to remember when using trees or forests as the background picture is to never use green. Green is known as a more suitable colour to use if the background is the image of the ocean or of the sky. Using a green screen is therefore a highly effective means of utilising chroma key technique in TV program production, which is popular because of its simplicity and inexpensiveness.

The Most Impressive Productions In The Sphere Of Television Cartoons

by Chad Moon on Mar.08, 2010, under Uncategorized

Cartoons are the very essence of entertaining television. They inspire our imagination and can’t help but make us smile with their slapstick jokes.

A lot of care and attention was put into the making of the really old cartoons. Some of them were very well animated with intricate plots, hilarious voices and music that followed the action to perfection.

Let’s remind ourselves of three well known cartoons that we loved when we were young. These are all classics that I’m sure you’ll appreciate in one way or another. Without further ado, here they are.

The Jetsons were a big favorite from the 1960s. It was great fun to watch this space age family deal with its problems. I watched it as a child in the 1980s and it was like being projected into the future.

The way the program depicted life in the galaxies was not only entertaining but also credible.

Popeye dates back over 50 years, but it was so well made you would hardly know it. Each episode was finely crafted and involved a timeless battle of good against evil.

Popeye’s nemesis was Bluto, his rival for Olive Oil’s affections. Just as Clark Kent became Superman, Popeye, once he’d eaten a can of spinach, became a super hero. Every child would get excited as he combated evil thanks to spinach.

Finally, let’s not forget Looney Toons. The ultimate in classic cartoons, it has the legendary character, Bugs Bunny, who by no means looks his age.

Every Looney Toons episode has an excellent script and it’s clear that great attention to detail was put into its making.

Besides television, the writer also frequently shares knowledge regarding the guitar chairs and guitar foot stool.

Green Screen LA – Simply No Limit

by Phillip Guye on Mar.06, 2010, under Uncategorized

Many movies that are shot in Los Angeles wouldn’t be achievable without the assistance of the Green screen LA. How else might Godzilla stomp through New York? Exactly how can imaginary galaxies such as the one in Star Trek seem doable? How could a film resemble a graphic novel so precisely? Filmmakers can’t just create settings which appear like they came straight from comic books or even the brains from the most creative filmmakers in merely a snap of a finger. In a nutshell, without the Green screen LA (a term coined from the common use of these type of screens in LA studios) technology that many studios in Los Angeles have adopted as the most effective way to develop special effects, our movie-watching experiences will have plenty of limitations. Mercifully, Los Angeles filmmakers have really discovered the miracle of those screens and its technology is here to stay.

The chroma key technique is about blending two distinct images together with each other. The foreground is maintained whereas the backdrop is changed with a different image. It is precisely the reason why the backdrop used has to be a solid color. It makes it simple for L.A. film makers and visual effects professionals to exchange it with a different picture. Nowadays, the most famous background color used in the countless studios scattered about Los Angeles is green. The reason being light is sensitive for this color, so meticulous lighting isn’t essential any longer. Additionally , it produces clean outlines and much less noise.

A good example which makes use of the screen is the recently available blockbuster flick “300.” Filmed entirely in a film studio in Los Angeles, the movie relies heavily on visual effects to recreate the atmosphere and feel of Sparta right in the center of L.A. One more thing the filmmakers regarded is the look of the movie. It was required to resemble the actual graphic novel. This wouldn’t be possible without the screen. In this movie, the stars were filmed in front of the Green screen LA. Finishing touches are included in post production. The backdrop pictures employed were all made by using different special effects such as CGI. The movie looked like a cohesive whole, even though layers and layers of elements were used in order to create the finished product. This would not be possible without this kind of technology that L.A. film makers have truly harnessed to its full capability.

For Green screen LA technology to work, there are many key elements to be considered. First, even though substantial lighting is not required, there is no justification to utilize substandard lights. Only the best cameras and lights must be employed when shooting utilizing a screen. Also, it is crucial to avoid casting shadows on the screen. This would be a blemish that will be hard to retouch. Keep in mind that the usage of a Green screen LA is always to have little work. Not utilizing the screen the appropriate way will certainly defeat the purpose of actually utilizing it.

The Green screen LA is a flexible instrument. For filmmakers in Los Angeles and all around the globe, it enables these people to create or even recreate essentially the most fascinating settings right in the middle of L.A. It’s also an essential resource for professional photographers because it permits them to make more refinements for their photos. Green screen LA technology is without doubt a very helpful device in the film business. It makes the impossible possible and brings what we can only dare to imagine to life. Green screen LA rentals and supplies is available all around the city of Los Angeles.

Green Screen LA Technology – A Factor in Many Films Today

by Phillip Guye on Mar.06, 2010, under Uncategorized

Were you ever curious as to just how special effects in movies are made? Just how do filmmakers recreate the mystical world of Hogwarts or bring up a pre-historic earth? How can filmmakers blend CGI with true to life action shots? All of these movie miracles are made possible through the Green screen LA. It’s also known as chroma key, blue screen, and color separation overlay (CSO). Without the Green screen LA LA technology, which is often used in studios all around the great city of Los Angeles (Chroma Key technology) a lot of memorable films would not be made. Moviegoers are going to be trapped with boring movies with poor, little, or absolutely no visual effects at all. With no chroma key, a lot of opportunities in movie-making would certainly be in the dreams and imaginations of filmmakers.

These screens do the job by putting two images together. The solid background colour is replaced by a real background scene that will be seen in the final cut of the film. Way back then, blue had been the color of preference among filmmakers. It was also utilized in many Technicolor films. One of the first movies which utilized the chroma key was the screen version of Ernest Hemingway’s popular novella, “The Old Man and the Sea.” The rest is history. Increasingly more movies were created with the help of chroma key technology. It ultimately spawned a lot of cinematic improvements which made film creating exactly what it is today. As an example, the Chroma Key screen has stopped being utilized exclusively for changing backdrops. Scenes are shot behind the screen to ensure that it would be easy to include visual effects just like CGI.

For instance, in the film Lord of the Rings, the actor who played Gollum wore a body suit which was exactly the same color of the Chroma Key screen. Devices were mounted on the suit to be able to focus on his movements. The CGI rendering of Gollum’s character is after that put over the green suit, and the devices cause it to appear like a true living creature is moving. After that, an actual backdrop is put on to replace the Green screen LA. In general, the Lord of the Rings universe was made by CGI and the Green screen LA!

The application of the screen started to be popular when sophisticated film making products were made and developed. Instead of blue, green took over as the fresh color of preference because it is much simpler to operate. It doesn’t need complicated lights, it creates much less sound, and it can make distinct lines so that it is easier to perform with in post-production. This is the reason these days, Green screen LA LA technology is the favorite resource for many filmmakers and is found in facilities all over the city of Los Angeles.

Although big movie studios and production houses are usually identified for making use of Green screen LA LA technology, it’s in fact much more obtainable than just what people believe it is. Even filmmakers on a budget can make their own screens. With the correct materials, creativity, resourcefulness, and guts, any person who wants to produce a good movie could make a DIY Green screen LA. Now, big budget movies can now be duplicated by anyone who has a resourceful brain. Any kind of studio supplies or rentals you need can be easily obtained in Los Angeles.

There are so many other sites offering various forms of advice on how to use green screen but most of them are not very specific or precise.
